In the Works:
The first three chapters of a category length story are in the inbox of a Blaze editor. I've never been a patient person, but this industry is teaching me to have patience in spades. :) I'll keep you updated if this develops into something more.
I'm working on a romantic suspense that is fluid and ever-changing. I had the rough draft finished, but felt it needed something more. I didn't know what, exactly, just something. Then it hit me: I'm telling the wrong damned story!! I'm now in the process of rewriting the first draft. I know it's going to be a much stronger story this time, and I'm thrilled I finally figured out what was wrong with it.
The rough draft of Last Call is sitting in a drawer waiting for me to get back to it. It also needs changed, and I'm waiting for inspiration to strike as to what those changes are, exactly.
I wrote a novella about a fallen angel (this guy is HOT! and I love him completely), but I think the story would be better if it was a full length. The story needs to take place over a longer time frame than was allowed by the short word count, so he's sitting at the edge of my thoughts (he's also learning patience) waiting for me to get back to him and do him right (pun intended).
Hopefully, I'll have more good news to share soon!!
